Following the success of "The Voice" finalist Nicholas David, Minnesota appears to have another reality TV star in the making.

The Minnetonka Patch reports that Minnetonka native and Hopkins High School graduate Alan Bernsten advanced into the top 20 on Tuesday's episode of the Fox's reality competition "So You Think You Can Dance?"

Among the show's competitors was Alan Bernsten's older brother, Gene Bernsten, who missed the cut.

Alan Bernsten, a dancer in the "Ballroom/Latin" category, is 19.

The dancer and his fellow 19 competitors will take to the floor again next Tuesday for 2-hour live episode of "So You Think You Can Dance?"

The show, which airs locally on Fox 9, begins at 7 p.m.
