An East Grand Forks couple planned on having a small wedding in Vegas, but it ended up being broadcast throughout the nation on a popular reality television show.

Inforum says Leah and Travis Foster had been together seven years and have a 2-year-old son together. They didn't want a big wedding, so they planned a trip out to Vegas for a quick ceremony in The Little White Chapel.

But not long after they made the reservations, the couple got a phone call, the news source reports. It was a chapel employee asking if they'd be willing to let a TV crew film their wedding. Not knowing what show they'd be a part of or how big it would be, the couple agreed.

In fact, they didn't find out they were going to be on ABC's The Bachelor until a few weeks before the big day.

The episode just aired Monday night, but it was filmed back in October.

In the episode, Ben Higgins – this season's current "bachelor" – and contestant Becca Tilley head to the chapel for a date, US Magazine says.

According to the entertainment magazine, Ben dropped to his knee and asked his date to help him "marry other people." Sure enough, two of the people he officiated for were Mr. and Mrs. Foster.

You can check out a short clip of the wedding below.
