New sideline reporter to join Fox Sports North

Author:

Fox Sports North says it has hired Jamie Hersch as a new sideline reporter and host for the regional sports network. The Minnesota native will make her FSN debut on Sunday, Feb. 17.

Hersch comes from WKOW-TV in Madison, Wis., where she most recently worked as a weekend sports anchor and sports reporter for two years, the Business Journal reports. Before that, she was a weekend news anchor and reporter for WKOW.

"I'm thrilled to return home to the Twin Cities to cover the teams I grew up cheering for," Hersch said. "This opportunity with FOX Sports North will allow me to connect with other Minnesotans on the teams we all love."

"Jamie is a perfect fit for FOX Sports North," said FOX Sports North Executive Producer Tony Tortorici. "We value her connection to Minnesota sports and the enthusiasm she'll bring to the job."

Robby Incmikoski, a former Fox Sports North reporter, left the network last November to be the sideline reporter for the Pittsburgh Pirates and a pre-game reporter for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
