Paisley Park is showing rare footage from Prince's 21-show London run

The concert footage is from one of his 21 shows at 02 Arena in 2007.

Rare concert footage of Prince performing one of 21 shows in London in 2007 will be shown at Paisley Park this weekend.

The Paisley Park organizers announced the Jan. 7 "Paisley Park After Dark" lineup late Thursday. It includes a 9 p.m. concert screening of one of his 21 Nights in London performances.

That's when Prince (as the title would indicate) played 21 nights at the city's O2 Arena in 2007, which The Telegraph said "dazzled London." The O2 wrote about the impact of that run here.

"Possibly our favourite memory from that time is recalling how Prince attended 17 out of 21 after parties hosted at indigo at The O2," the story says. "He often got back onstage again at midnight to perform for a second time, leaving those who were there totally speechless!"

The footage being shown Saturday at Paisley Park is from his Sept. 13 show. The Current says it's never been publicly released.

There do appear to be tickets still available. You'll need the $60 "Paisley Park After Dark" pass to see the footage.

The site has been doing "Paisley Park After Dark" every Friday and Saturday since Dec. 2. Paisley Park announces details on its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
