Paisley Park will celebrate Prince's life with a 4-day event

Celebration 2017 will mark the one-year anniversary of Prince's death.

Paisley Park plans to celebrate Prince's life a year after his death – but it won't be cheap if you want to take part.

Celebration 2017 is a four-day event in April that will honor Prince through concerts, tours, panel discussions and more, a news release says.

Details are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, but organizers say The Revolution, Morris Day and The Time, and members of the New Power Generation and 3RDEYEGIRL will all perform.

Celebration 2017 will be modeled after Prince: A Celebration festival that was held at the Paisley Park studio back in 2000, the release notes.

Tickets for the April 20-23 event are on sale now, starting at $499 for general admission. Those tickets include five hours of programing on all four days, plus access to four exclusive concert events.

VIP tickets will run you $999 each, and include all the perks of general admission, plus VIP concert seating, on-site parking, photo and autograph opportunities with special guests, merchandise and a meal pass.

Individual day passes aren't yet available, and it's not clear when they may go on sale.

Paisley Park opened for public tours in October (buy tickets here), and has since announced several special and themed events to honor the Purple One.
