Paul Simon, Sting to play together in concert at Xcel

Forget about Simon & Garfunkel: Simon and former Police frontman Sting are pairing together for an upcoming concert tour that will stop in St. Paul in February, the Star Tribune reports.

The music giants' "Paul Simon & Sting: On Stage Together" tour will hit the Xcel Energy Center Feb. 23, concert promoters said Tuesday.

Tickets are $252, $127, $82 and $42, and will go on sale Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. at the Xcel Energy Center box office and through Ticketmaster.

Sources tell Billboard that Simon, 72, and Sting, 62, will also perform songs with their own bands during the show, much in the same way Elton John and Billy Joel have performed shows on their successful "Face to Face" tours.

The "Paul Simon & Sting: On Stage Together" tour opens Feb. 8 in Houston and concludes March 18 in Orlando, Fla.
