Paul x2: Paul McCartney adds 2nd MN show after 'overwhelming demand'

Author:

Minnesotans love McCartney, apparently.

Sir Paul McCartney, who only yesterday announced a Minneapolis tour date, has added a second show "due to an overwhelming demand," the music icon said Thursday morning.

He'll now play both May 4 and May 5 at Target Center, as part of his new One on One tour.

Tickets will go on sale March 21 at 10 a.m. – though if you were registered on PaulMcCartney.com by 7 a.m. Thursday (or are an American Express cardholder), you are able to get early access to tickets. That starts today, Thursday, at 10 a.m. through his website.

McCartney announced the May 4 show Wednesday, returning to Minneapolis less than 24 months after selling out Target Field in August of 2014. If was his first show in nine years in Minnesota.

Sir Paul’s got nine dates for this 2016 tour so far, including one in Sioux Falls on May 2. The Minneapolis stop is his last (at this point).
