The replacement for the retired Jimmy Neutron ride at Nickelodeon Universe has been revealed.
The Mall of America confirmed that a PAW Patrol "immersive experience" will open at the indoor theme park in late summer.
The Jimmy Neutron ride, which had been at the park in various forms since it opened in 1992, closed this past weekend.
The new ride, the MOA says, will be a 4,000 square-foot attractions that allows kids to "recreate their favorite PAW Patrol missions inside the world of Adventure Bay in an exciting open-play experience."
An image of the proposed ride shows it's basically a huge, PAW Patrol-themed play area.
"Whether preparing for rescue missions inside of Lookout Tower or climbing down to the beach to see if there are any turtles or crabs that need saving, kids of all ages will find something new around every corner while visiting the attraction," the MOA says.
If you're not familiar with PAW Patrol, chances are you don't have young kids. And if you do have kids, chances are they've spent an inordinate amount of their young lives watching the addictive program.
It's a global smash, which is why Nickelodeon say it's the "perfect addition" to the theme park as it celebrates its 10-year partnership with the MOA this year.
"We remain committed to creating immersive storytelling experiences for guests of all ages and this new PAW Patrol attraction fits perfectly," said Jill Renslow, SVP of business development and marketing at the Mall of America.
Admission to the new ride will be included in the price of all-day wristbands, or will cost six points for those paying per ride.
Don't be surprised though if the ride is filled with the sounds of children screaming because they don't want to leave...
