A new beer-drinking experience opens in Duluth this weekend, when Bent Paddle throws open the doors to its brand new taproom.
At 5,500 square feet, Minnesota's sixth-largest brewery now has a much larger – and cooler – taproom at 1832 West Michigan Street, right next to its existing brewery and former taproom.
The extra space will allow it to operate a smaller scale, experimental brewery where it can create beers unique to its taproom.
It's giving visitors the first look in a Grand Opening event on Thursday evening, featuring live music, street food, a children's area and batch testing of its new beers.
Then on Friday it opens its doors for good, opening on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 11 p.m.
"We have put a lot of heart & soul into the design of our new taproom and though we are a bit sad to leave our original gathering space we are beyond excited to share our new taproom experience with all of our loyal paddlers on April 12 and beyond," Bent Paddle Co-Founder Karen Tonnis said in a press release.
Here's a sneak peak of the new space.
