The annual Record Store Day served a dual purpose this year. It landed near the 1st anniversary of the passing of Prince, so fans celebrated his life in addition to the normal vinyl-related festivities. Donuts kept record buyers fueled up for a day full of live performances, exclusive releases, and block parties around the Twin Cities.
