Pop singer and actress Selena Gomez is embarking on a 56-city world tour at the end of the summer, and is making one of her stops in the Twin Cities, the Pioneer Press reports.

Gomez, who performed on Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, will play Target Center in Minneapolis Nov. 21.

The stop comes near the end of Gomez's Stars Dance Tour, which kicks off in Vancouver Aug. 14. The tour wraps up Nov. 27 in St. Louis.

Tickets for the Target Center gig go on sale this Saturday.

Gomez, 20, started acting at age 7, guest-starring on Disney Channel shows like "Hannah Montana" before moving on to her immensely popular series "Wizards of Waverly Place" from 2007-2012. The show also helped launch her musical career when she recorded songs for the show's soundtrack.

Most recently, Gomez has been focusing on movies, including a voice role in animated family comedy "Hotel Transylvania" last fall and the adult comedy "Spring Breakers" last month.
