It's official: Paisley Park just painted social media purple.
After years of seeing Prince jump on and off various services, and a lot of announcements come out semi-officially via the Paisley Park After Dark Facebook page, the complex where he lived and worked for decades is now on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The announcement came in a press release put out by Bremer Trust Wednesday afternoon.
The Facebook page features a tab called “The Fence” dedicated to fan art submissions.
Considering the amount of back-and-forth the public and various other entities involved with Prince's estate have endured in recent days, the social accounts could mean more official statements from Paisley Park.
As of 4:30 p.m., there's nothing on the Instagram, a couple tweets, and a single Facebook post.
The Bremer release also mentions these accounts will "capture opening week activity as Paisley Park opens for tours," so we could see an uptick in activity soon.
