A road trip-inspired food hall is coming to St. Paul this summer

It's from the same people behind New Bohemia.

It's the "great American road trip" all under one roof.

Seventh Street Truckyard – a road trip-inspired food hall – aims to open in August about a block from the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

It's the latest concept from the people behind the craft beer and bratwurst chain New Bohemia, with COO Brian Ingram saying in a news release they've "combined all of the great American road trip memories into one location, while adding our own twists and turns along the way."

The space will include several classic vehicles, including a 1976 Palm Beach Lime Green RV and a 1970 VW Bus, that have been retrofitted to be full-service kitchens (like a food truck). That's where you'll get all the food you find on road trips, like huge pizzas, tacos, ribs, fried chicken and ice cream sandwiches.

After you order, you can bring your food to different campsite-style seating areas. The Pioneer Press notes each "campsite" is named after a St. Paul neighborhood or landmark.

Then there's the booze. There's a a trailer park bar where people can get 40-ounce brews like Schlitz and Pabst in brown paper bags or cheap bottles of Boone's Farm wine. Another bar – which will have an indoor roof deck – will focus on rum drinks, the Star Tribune says.

There will also be carnival-style games like ring toss and live music. Here's some of the inspiration behind the food hall:

Seventh Street Truckyard will be at 214 7th St. W. in St. Paul. For more information, click here.
