For the fourth time this year, Sheryl Crow is coming to play a concert gig in Minnesota.
The Grammy-winning rocker-turned-country music artist will headline the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand on Aug. 25, the Pioneer Press reports.
Crow has already played Black Bear Casino in Carlton in May and Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake in June, and will headline Macy's Glamorama with Cirque du Soleil at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis Aug. 2.
The Crow concert announcement completes the State Fair's Grandstand roster for this year. Country rocker Dwight Yoakam is Crow's opening act.
Tickets are $39 and go on sale Saturday through eTix.
Previously announced acts include include Depeche Mode, Tim McGraw and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, as well as former “Saturday Night Live” stars Dana Carvey, Dennis Miller and Kevin Nealon. Other State Fair headliners include Sammy Hagar, Train and the "Under the Sun" tour, which includes '90s hitmakers Smash Mouth (“All Star,” “Walkin’ on the Sun”), Sugar Ray (“Fly,” “Every Morning”) and the Gin Blossoms (“Hey Jealousy,” “Til I Hear it From You”).
Other package tours playing the Grandstand include the "Happy Together" tour, which includes such '60s acts as the Turtles, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere and the Raiders, and Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night; and MN Music on a stick, which includes Trampled by Turtles, The Suburbs, Mason Jennings, P.O.S. and The Chalice.
Free acts at the State Fair this year include Sheila E., Hanson and Blue Oyster Cult.
