Where you are exactly will play a huge role in how much you get.

Original story

Depending on where you live in the Twin Cities, you'll either be able to sweep the snow off your sidewalk or you'll need a truck with a plow to clear it.

Here's the latest from the National Weather Service-Twin Cities.

Based on the latest information, the eastern side of the Twin Cities may only receive a dusting, where the western side of the cities could receive up to a foot of snow. The main timing will be 9 p.m. Friday night, through 9 a.m. Saturday morning.

The NWS is most confident that a northwest to southeast line from Morris to Willmar, Gaylord and Owatonna stand the best chance to receive 6+ inches of snow.

As pointed out by meteorologist Paul Douglas, one computer model is forecasting several inches and then another, the one pictured below, is suggesting 12+ inches for the Twin Cities.
