Sugarland join Minnesota State Fair 2018 Grandstand music lineup

The reunited country act will perform at the Grandstand in August.

Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush of the country duo Sugarland have announced plans for a massive 2018 tour. Included in their itinerary is the Minnesota State Fair.

Their Still the Same trek hits the Grandstand on Friday, August 24, the fair announced Tuesday morning.

According to Rolling Stone, this is the first time in more than five years that Nettles and Bush have been on the road together. In December they released a reunion single, "Still the Same," after spending much of the past seven years working on solo projects.

Opening acts for the show are Frankie Ballard and Lindsay Ell.

Tickets are $57-$67, and go on sale on Friday, Jan. 19, at 10 a.m. Online purchase is here, or call 800-514-3849, or visit the State Fairgrounds Ticket Office between 10 a.m. and noon on that day.

Sugarland are the second act to be announced for the 2018 State Fair Grandstand. Ex-One Direction singer Niall Horan will play the stage on Thursday, August 23.
