"Super Troopers 2" is filming right meow.
The sequel to the 2002 (holy cow we're getting old) comedy was funded with an IndieGoGo campaign. They were looking to raise about $2 million, and ended up bringing in more than $4.5 million.
And one of the movie's writers/stars is Erik Stolhanske – who was born in Minneapolis in 1968, and is part of the Broken Lizard comedy team. He played Rabbit in the first film, and is reprising the role.
Variety says they're shooting outside of Boston.
