The Dakota County Attorney's office will consider filing criminal charges against the parents of a 3-month-old baby who was left in a running car for almost an hour while the couple was at a bar. Witnesses found the infant in the car outside of the Red Diamond Saloon in Randolph last month.
The lawsuit over the online voter registration program launched by Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie is now in the hands of a Ramsey County judge. Four Republican lawmakers and two conservative activist groups filed the lawsuit to block the system last month claiming Ritchie lacked the legal authority to implement it.
The Minneapolis City Council voted Friday to approve a $400 million project to transform the eastern part of downtown. The project calls for two Wells Fargo office towers, two blocks of public park, parking ramps and apartments and retail space to be built near the new Vikings stadium.
