The 'World's Biggest Pop-Up Brunch' is coming to Minnesota this weekend

Deschutes Brewery is bringing breakfast and beers to the Twin Cities.

The "World's Biggest Pop-up Brunch" is coming to Minneapolis this weekend.

Deschutes Brewery – which has hosted its "World's Biggest Pop-up Street Pubs" in Minneapolis for the past two years – is bringing something different to Minnesota this year.

The Oregon-based brewery will bring Woody – its giant mobile beer barrel bar – to The Commons outside U.S. Bank Stadium for a pop-up brunch, with proceeds going to Second Harvest Heartland.

The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will feature breakfast bites paired with beer brunch cocktails (more on that below); Deschutes beers; "brunch challenges," including a big-wheel obstacle course; and live music.

It's free to attend, but it's $5 for a token. A token can be used to get one of the following: a 5-ounce beer cocktail and a paired food item; a 14-ounce beer; or a 14-ounce beer cocktail.

A look at the menu

Deschutes teamed up with Irish Born Hospitality Restaurant Group to pair beer cocktails with some breakfast foods. Here's what's on the menu:

– The Black Butte Bloody Mary beer cockatil will be paired with Mckinney Roe's spiced Tasso ham and sage cream over a smokey Tillamook cheddar and herbed biscuit.

– Maple Bacon Porter beer cocktail paired with O'Donovan's Irish Pub's corned beef hash with caramelized red and green peppers, onions and a soft egg.

– Fresh Squeezed Beermosa beer cocktail paired with Jake O'Connor's Public House's citrus salmon lox on a focaccia crostini with dill and shallot creamed cheese.

– American Wheat Beer-lini beer cocktail paired with Lola's Lake House's smoked burnt pork with pepper soubise and tomato garlic hollandaise.

Additional food will also be available for purchase.
