This week in music: Cody Simpson tour stops in Twin Cities

Teen heartthrob Cody Simpson brings his "Paradise Tour" to Mill City Nights in Minneapolis on Tuesday.

The show, previously scheduled for the State Theatre, is part of Simpson's 36-city summer tour.

The 16-year-old singer is preparing the release of his second album, which has been preceded by the release of his new single, "Pretty Brown Eyes."

Simpson's hits also include “Wish U Were Here” and “Got Me Good.”

Also in concert this week:

--Cheap Trick is playing the Minnesota Zoo's "Music in the Zoo" series at the Weesner Family Amphitheater in Apple Valley Saturday.

--Los Lobos is also playing the Weesner Family Amphitheater at the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley Sunday, along with Los Lonely Boys.
