It will be a flashback to the rock scene of the 1980s in April when three music giants from the era bring their "Midwest Rock 'N Rock Express" tour to Target Center.
According to WCCO-TV, REO Speedwagon, Styx and Ted Nugent announced Monday that they will play a three-pronged gig April 19 in Minneapolis.
REO Speedwagon is known for such power ballads as "Keep on Loving You" and "Can't Fight This Feeling," while Styx's hits include "Come Sail Away," "Blue Collar Man," "Too Much Time on My Hands" and "Mr. Roboto."
Nugent -- also known as the Motor City Madman -- has recorded such hits as "Catch Scratch Fever" and "Wango Tango."
Nugent also previously paired with Styx guitarist Tommy Shaw in the supergroup Damn Yankees, who recorded the hit "High Enough."
The rockers are set to play at Target Center on Friday, April 19. REO Speedwagon will be the event’s closing act.
Tickets for the Midwest Rock 'N Roll Express at Target Center -- which range from $25 up to $125 -- go on sale Friday.
