Is Usher coming to the Minnesota State Fair this year? "Yeah, yeah yeah ... yeah, yeah, yeah."
The 38-year-old performer will play a show at the Grandstand on Thursday, Aug. 31, the State Fair announced Thursday morning.
Usher's in his 23rd year as a music superstar. His first album, Usher, came out way back in 1994 when he was 14 years old. It hit No. 25 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. Since then he's doled out hit after hit, with 75 million albums sold worldwide and eight Grammy wins.
His most recent album is Hard II Love. It came out Sept. 16, 2016. You can listen to it here on Spotify.
Tickets for his Grandstand show go on sale May 5 at noon – here's the link for that. It's $97 for general admission plaza-level, or anywhere from $72-$87 for mainstand reserved seating.
