Bruce Springsteen surprised a 91-year-old fan by inviting her up on stage Monday night at the Xcel Energy Center.
According to the Star Tribune, the Boss – who's 66 – took Jeanne Heintz of St. Paul out of the crowd during "Dancing in the Dark," recreating a scene from his famous music video of 1984.
In the video – which was filmed at the St. Paul Civic Center – a Springsteen pulls a young woman out of the crowd. That woman is Friends star Courteney Cox, but she wasn't famous at the time the music video was made.
Despite being decades older than the famous actress in the original video, Heintz didn't miss a beat. With a hop in her step, the 91-year-old danced and twirled across the stage with Springsteen.
And Heintz is no stranger to Springsteen. The Pioneer Press says she and her daughter have seen him more than 150 times since 1988.
In fact, this isn't even the first time Heintz danced with the Boss. According to a Pioneer Press article written in 2009, Heintz first danced with him in Des Moines. She got his attention with a sign that read "I drove all night to dance with you."
Heintz tells the paper Springsteen has invited her to dance three or four times now.
