After nearly a week of record-setting warmth in the Twin Cities, it almost hurts to think of the big snowstorm that's going to be hitting Thursday into Friday.

But considering parts of the state could see more than a foot of snow (up to 20 inches in some places), GoMN decided to hit the streets to make sure people are prepared to hunker down with food, shovels and alcohol. You know, the necessities.
