Nope, these ice houses aren't for fishing.

GoMN visited White Bear Lake where artists from across the U.S. have settled for Art Shanty Projects.

It runs every weekend in February, and there are 20 completely different ice houses to check out. They're all pretty interactive.

Like the Sensa-station Story Shanty encourages visitors to share their own stories. The Conversation Booth brings together strangers, and the Dance Shanty is just there if you need to bust some moves. You can read about the shanties here, or just watch our video!

It's open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every weekend, and you can get directions here. There is no fee to visit, but guests are encouraged to donate.
