A big, new addition is coming to the Twin Cities craft beer scene: Utepils Brewing.
Don't worry, we didn't know how to pronounce it at first, either. It's OOH-ta-pilz, and founder Dan Justesen says it's a Norwegian word that means the first beer you drink in the sunshine after a long, dark winter.
The brewery doesn't open until Feb. 18, but we got to check it out a little early. You can take a peek at the new European-influenced space in the video above. They plan to carry over that theme for the beer, which will also take its inspiration from Euro styles.
It's located right next to Bassett Creek where Glenwood Inglewood Water Company used to be.
