Vikings and Trampled by Turtles fans, here's the T-shirt for you


As part of a league-wide cross-promotion with, the Minnesota Vikings have teamed up with beloved Duluth Americana group Trampled by Turtles for a special-edition T-shirt design.

Minnesota's entry into the fray is one of the more inspired designs in the series, which also features pairings like Eminem with the Detroit Lions, ZZ Top and the Houston Texans, Jerry Garcia and the San Francisco 49ers, and many more.

The campaign is called #MyTeamMyCity, and the designs will only be available for purchase until October 13. The shirts themselves cost $25 and come in men's and women's cuts.

Perhaps to remove any doubt that they should have appeared on a Packers shirt instead, Trampled by Turtles made their purple pride clear on Facebook yesterday. The Duluth band also showed their true colors when they played a concert outside US Bank Stadium as part of the Vikings' home opener festivities.
