The number of trendy food joints at the Mall of America is growing once again.

Wahlburgers – created by the Wahlberg trio of chef Paul and actors Mark and Donnie – is planning to open a location at MOA next summer, according to a news release from the mall Tuesday morning.

This will be the first Wahlburgers in Minnesota, and it'll be franchised by Hy-Vee. There are currently 17 of the restaurants across nine states and Canada.

The menu will include burgers, fish and chicken (presumably after Mark is done talking to all of them), some vegetarian options, an assortment of "home-style" sides and housemade condiments, and a full bar, the release says.

Chef Paul Wahlberg in the announcement pitches it as a family-friendly place, saying his family and Hy-Vee are "committed to offering a unique culinary experience that goes beyond the basic burger, with customer service that will make you feel like family.”

It'll be on the north side of the mall on level 2 – that's over by Zara and Zumiez, by the hallway that leads out to the JW Marriott hotel.

Carrie Charleston, vice president of leasing for Mall of America, called Wahlburgers a "top-notch dining experience."

Hy-Vee is leading Wahlburgers development in the Midwest, and one exec earlier this year said to expect at least a handful in the Twin Cities area.

Mall of America keeps landing Twin Cities firsts

The megamall has become a landing spot for a slew of new restaurants entering the Twin Cities market for the first time.

Shake Shack, Tim Hortons, Carlo's Bakery and Sweet Jesus are among them. And now you can add Wahlburgers to the list.

MOA has lured some prominent retailers and clothing stores too, including Zara, Untuckit, Indochino, L.L. BeanFjällräven and Crayola Experience.
