Watch the full moon rise behind Duluth's Aerial Lift Bridge

Hundreds of still photos taken over 45 minutes were used to make an 18-second video.

This doesn't need much introduction.

We'll just mention that photographer Dennis O'Hara says in his Facebook post he took 600 photos during the 45 minutes it took the moon to come up behind the Aerial Lift Bridge in Duluth one evening last week.

He put the photos together into this time lapse video:

O'Hara's business is Northern Images Photography.

Later in the week the full moon coincided with a lunar eclipse and the arrival of a comet.

The Aerial Lift Bridge may be the most photographed attraction in Duluth. When it opened in 1905 a cable system carried passengers in a gondola that ran under the top part of the bridge.

It was renovated in 1930 to what we see today. Learn more about it here or here or here.
