A Minnesota pancake artist has just released his annual sports-related pancake video.

Last year, he honored the Vikings. Before that, it was the Gophers. But this is the Minnesota Wild's year – on the ice and in pancake form.

In the video above, Nathan Ziegler crafts several Wild-themed images using pancake batter. He tells GoMN he made it in anticipation of Saturday night's big match against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Both teams are coming in with long win streaks – 12 straight for the Wild, 14 in a row for the Blue Jackets.

When we asked Ziegler if he's a big Wild fan, he responded saying he's a "die-hard Minnesota fan."

And that shows in all his Youtube channel, Minnesota Cold – it features everything from Minnesota-themed pancakes to cold weather experiments. Ziegler is also the guy who threw boiling hot water into freezing cold air a few years ago, and jumped onto an ice-covered trampoline.
