WCCO's Santaniello to co-host 'The Talk' again

WCCO-TV's Amelia Santaneillo is getting ready to co-host the CBS talk show "The Talk," the network says.

Santaniello, who anchors the weekday 5, 6 and 10 p.m. news broadcasts with husband Frank Vascellaro, will join "The Talk" co-hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood on the show Wednesday.

"The Talk" airs weekdays from 1 to 2 p.m. CT weekdays on WCCO in the Twin Cities area.

The Pioneer Press says Santaniello guest-hosted the show twice last year.

In June 2012, part of her duties included an interview with "CSI: Miami" star Adam Rodriguez about his role in the stripper drama "Magic Mike." Santaniello also posed questions to former Sen. John Edwards' mistress, Rielle Hunter.

In October 2012, WCCO says, Vascellaro and Santiello both co-hosted the show.

Guest stars for Wednesday's show include cast members from "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."
