President Barack Obama ended his eulogy honoring Reverend Clementa Pinckney by leading thousands of mourners in singing "Amazing Grace."

Rev. Pinckney was a South Carolina state senator and pastor of the Emanuel A.M.E. Church in Charleston. He was one of nine people killed in a mass shooting at the historic black church on June 17.

"Through the example of their lives, they've now passed [that grace] on to us," President Obama said. "May we find ourselves worthy of that precious and extraordinary gift."

“May God continue to shed His grace on the United States of America."
