As a love story unwraps in Extra Gum's latest commercial, the Internet is collectively weeping.
Advertising powerhouse Energy BBDO is behind the new advertisement, titled "Sarah and Juan," which has been viewed nearly four million times since Wednesday.
Creative director Andrés Ordoñéz tells AdWeek the romantic spot "is not about a specific relationship, but about all moments of connection."
If you find yourself crying during the two-minute clip, you're not alone.
"The chemistry between our lead actors was so good, people were tearing up on set during the first scene on day one," Ordoñéz explained. "We knew we had a beautiful story to share."
