Courtney Solstad and her husband told their three daughters they were going on a date.

What the girls didn't know was that their parents would soon return home with a Christmas surprise – their adopted baby brother, Nathan.

According to Refinery 29, Solstad shared a video to Facebook of the girls' reactions when they saw Nathan for the first time.

In the Facebook post (which has since been made private), she wrote, "The girls knew nothing about Nathan until this. We met them at the door and told them that we had been out Christmas shopping and got them a gift to share… and it was under the tree! "

The video, which you can watch above, shows the girls as they are overcome with emotion.

"I'm gonna wet my pants!" exclaims one daughter.
