Chicago alt-country lifers Wilco announced they're returning to the Twin Cities for their two-night debut at St. Paul's recently renovated Palace Theatre on November 15 and 16.

Jeff Tweedy and company are wrapping up their touring cycle for the band's 10th album, Schmilco, which dropped just a little over a year ago.

According to their press release, the band is planning taking a break from the road for the better part of 2018 to hit the studio and allow members to pursue individual projects.

While this could be big news for Tweedy stans and fans of Nels Cline's avant garde guitarism, Minnesota's Wilco faithful should be prepared for a long period of hibernation after these shows.

According to the Palace Theatre, tickets for the November 15 and November 16 shows sold out immediately this morning, and as a result, Wilco has added a third and final show on November 17.

Tickets for the November 17 show go on sale Monday, September 18 at noon.
