Will Arnett talks about boring things for weird 'Netflix Live' April Fools'

It's a "live"stream for April Fools' ... but not really.

Get ready for Netflix Live, the newest program from Netflix that let's you "experience life's biggest thrills, right from the comfort of your couch."

What kind of thrills? Pencil sharpening. Corporate Netflix emailing. Someone parallel parking. Night. A microwave.

All narrated by Will Arnett (aka GOB Bluth).

Netflix Live is an April Fools' joke. It's 48 minutes, and starts in a way that seems like you're jumping into a live feed mid-stream (which is a nice touch). And Arnett just ... talks. About whatever super boring stuff is happening onscreen.

It's strange.

Quartz argues it's basically a jab at the recent obsession with live video, which Netflix has said it doesn't want to do.

It's also a pretty good publicity move, since Arnett stars in the Netflix series Flaked, which has a second season coming.
