You've got the wrong Duluth, Sir Paul McCartney

Only about 1,190 miles off, but that's OK.

So close, Sir Paul – just 1,190 miles or so off-target.

Paul McCartney announced brand new U.S. tour dates Tuesday, 14 shows across 11 states, including a stop in Duluth.

And that's where things got confusing.

As Access Atlanta has pointed out, the original announcement listed the July 13 shows for Duluth, Minnesota. Considering he's going to Tinley Park, Illinois, and Bossier City, Louisiana, a stop on the North Shore might not be out of character for this tour.

Except the venue was listed as Infinite Energy Arena, which is of course in Duluth, Georgia. And the state mistake has been fixed in the announcement now, which clearly labels the show for "Duluth, GA."

Though it did sneak by a few people, including Billboard, which noted Duluth, Minnesota, was one of the new cities for McCartney.

So bottom line: Sir Paul isn't coming to Minnesota any time soon, and the closest he'll be to the state is the Des Moines show on July 21.
