Zombie Pub Crawl's 2016 lineup: From Rae Sremmurd to Smash Mouth

For over a decade now, the Zombie Pub Crawl has made a case for the Twin Cities' most over-the-top party. Its 12th year looks to be more brain-gobbling insanity for 25,000 revelers, according to organizers.

Held in downtown Minneapolis on Saturday, October 15, the event will feature a mash-up of hip-hop, classic alt-rock, EDM, and more spread over two outdoor stages and 20-plus bars. If you haven't already guessed, this is a 21-plus event.

For the first time, Zombie Pub Crawl will hold a costume contest, and have added a carnival featuring acrobatics, burlesque, and more. And, there'll be a new Grain Belt collaborative can for the official "Brain Belt" beverage.

Mississippi hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd lead the lineup, which also includes English DJ Zomboy, Drake collaborator ILoveMakonnen, party rocker Andrew W.K., and a couple of artists who fill the fest's "retro" quota, Smash Mouth and Ja Rule.

Featured local acts for the day include Finding Novyon, Mark Mallman, the Blind Shake, Bloodnstuff,Whiskey Rock & Roll Club, and DJs Mike 2600 and jimmy2times.

Even more music will be highlighted on themed stages for metal – Impaler and Thor will perform there – ska, and a “Covered in Blood” tribute bands stage.

Wristbands for ZPC are $19.99 to $100, and are available now right here.
