CUB Foods launches liquor pickup and delivery orders in Minnesota
CUB now offers both pickup and delivery options for beer, wine and spirits orders at more than 20 Minnesota locations.
The company announced the new service Thursday, noting it's currently available at 22 CUB Wine & Spirits and Liquor stores in the state.
That number will increase to 27 by the end of July, with locations in West Saint Paul and Sun Ray in St. Paul adding the options this week, with Mankato, Rochester, and Willmar to follow the next month.
By the end of July, CUB said 27 total stores will offer liquor pickup and delivery.

The grocer, in launching booze pickup and delivery options, also beat Target to the punch in its home state. The Bullseye recently introduced the option in 29 states, excluding Minnesota.
CUB's service will be available 8 a.m.-10 p.m. weekdays, and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on weekends. There will be no pickup or delivery fees from now through July 3. After that, MyCub Rewards members will pay $9.99 for delivery, and pickup orders more than $50 will be free.
Bridget Birkeland, vice president of adult beverage at CUB, said liquor sales during the COVID-19 pandemic grew faster than any other consumer packaged goods category.
