Keg and Case West 7th Market in St. Paul is kicking off summer with four new vendors, live music and movie nights.
The food hall and market reopened May 1 with eight new vendors after being closed for more than a year due to COVID-19. And now Keg and Case is welcoming four more arrivals.
- Juice Wisely — opening June 5, offering freshly made cold-pressed juices, smoothies and salads.
- Joey Meatballs — opening June 30. This new concept from local chef Josh Hedquist offers fresh pasta bowls made to order, with diners choosing from four different pastas, five sauces and 15 toppings. Bowls are priced between $10-20.
- Poppin' craft popcorn — it opened May 29, offering flavored popcorns, pretzels, handmade pizzas and more.
- R+R Cultivation — it opened May 29, offering a continually changing mix of organic and sustainably grown mushrooms, including blue oyster, lion's mane and shitake.
“We always envisioned Keg and Case as a community hub, offering a fantastic mix of local restaurants, retailers, and entertainment,” Gates Lindquist, executive director of Keg and Case, said in a statement. “We’re very excited to welcome more incredible local entrepreneurs to the market so our guests can continue to experience new foods, makers, and entertainment at a single convenient location.”
Keg and Case is also launching new entertainment options for the summer, including live music and movies.
On Friday and Saturday nights, local musicians will perform live in the park outside the market. The Summer Sessions music series will be held from 6-9 p.m., kicking off this weekend with Trevor James on Friday and Nur-D, Eleganza and the Foxgloves on Saturday.
Every Thursday this summer, Keg and Case will host Throwback Theater at dusk in the park, where people can enjoy some cinema classics. It kicks off this week with The Goonies. Other movies being shown this month are Jumanji (June 10), ET (June 17) and Ghostbusters (June 24).
