A MN youth shelter could win $5K in a national charity bracket contest
While you've been busy with your NCAA brackets, this Minnesota charity has been moving up the ranks in a totally different kind of bracket.
HOPE 4 Youth – a Twin Cities homeless youth shelter – has made it to the championship round in Farrell's Charity Bracket Challenge.
It works pretty much like any bracket, except you vote to advance your favorite charity. Then the ultimate winner gets $5,000.
HOPE 4 Youth is super close to the prize, but the organization said Wednesday that it's currently losing to Altoona Kids Cafe in Iowa.

According to the HOPE 4 Youth website, the organization has served about 370 youth dealing with homelessness. It helps people 23 years and younger get things like food, clothing, housing and even jobs.
