FOX 9 is adding a new name to its team, bringing in Kaleigh Emery from North Dakota.
Emery currently works as a sports anchor/reporter at NBC-affiliate KYFR-TV in Bismarck, but will serve her last day there this coming Friday.
She'll then make the move to the Twin Cities to take up her new role at Fox 9, where she'll work as an associate producer.
The California native studied broadcast journalism at Northern Arizona University, moving to Bismarck after graduating in 2015.
Emery announced her impending departure to her viewers in North Dakota on Monday, writing: "I am beyond thrilled to begin my next journey at FOX 9 in Minneapolis.
"While I am so excited to start the next chapter in my career, I will always remember the great times I've had in this beautiful state."
She will start her job at the Twin Cities station on Feb. 19.
