A note to a missing Minnesota teen from a dad – who's also a cop

We're not sure where Audrey Lukes will spend her 16th birthday on Wednesday because she disappeared from her southeastern Minnesota home a month ago.
Maybe she'll show up at her family's home in Montgomery. But police in that town suspect Audrey may have traveled to Kenyon, Minnesota. So they alerted the authorities in Kenyon this week.
That led police there to look around and post an alert on Facebook asking the public to help in the search. It also led an officer named Lee to write his own heartfelt post on Tuesday, speaking directly to Audrey. Check it out below:

"Officer Lee" is actually Police Chief Lee Sjolander, who has become a minor celebrity in southeast Minnesota for his honest and warming social media posts about policing and the love of his home town. It has earned Kenyon PD one of the largest Facebook followings in the state.
Police say Audrey Marie Lukes has brown eyes and her hair color was auburn/red when she left her home in Montgomery on Feb. 22. She stands 5' 9" tall and weighs about 160 pounds.
According to Le Sueur County court records, she was born on March 22, 2001.
