Minnesotans looking for some outdoor clothing at knock-down prices will find a new outlet store in Eagan later this year.

The Twin Cities Premium Outlets has announced that one of its new arrivals will be a Columbia Factory Store, which is expected to open in April.

The store will offer Columbia apparel and accessories at discounts of up to 65 percent off.

It comes a little over a year after Columbia closed its prominent store on Hennepin Avenue in Uptown.

This only left Columbia with one of its regular stores at the Mall of America, along with a factory outlet at the outlet mall in Albertville, which is operated by the same company at the Twin Cities Premium Outlets.

The outdoor wear retailer will join more than 100 factory outlets at the Eagan mall.

"We’re thrilled to welcome Columbia Factory Store to Twin Cities Premium Outlets," said Sarah Dorrian, the Premium Outlets’ director of marketing, in a press release.

"As one of the area’s premiere shopping destinations, we continue to evolve by offering visitors more and more must-have brands."

The new store will be found between the Bass Factory Outlet and Sketchers, near to the Nike Factory Store.
