After canceled 2020 tour, Kenny Chesney announces return to US Bank Stadium

Tickets for the cancelled show will be honored.

County music superstar Kenny Chesney will stop in Minneapolis during his just-announced 2022 tour - and tickets for the canceled 2020 show will be honored as-is.

Chesney will play U.S. Bank Stadium on Aug. 6, 2022, as part of the Here And Now 2022 Stadium Tour, which will serve as something of a replacement for the Chillaxification 2020 Tour that was canceled before it started due to COVID-19. Chesney was supposed to play U.S. Bank Stadium on May 2, 2020.

“When we hit pause on our 2020 tour, I never thought we would go much past the fall, let alone into 2021,” Chesney said in the announcement.

The 2022 tour has a new name, and will include a new lineup and new music, Chesney previously said. And good news for anyone with 2020 tickets: "All current ticketholders remain in the seats they’ve already purchased for Here And Now 2022," the announcement says.

Any current ticketholders who are unable to make the 2022 concert can get a full refund, but have to request one in the next 30 days from a primary ticket source.
