Al Franken is going on tour.

The former U.S. senator from Minnesota announced his "The Only Former U.S. Senator Currently on Tour" tour Monday morning. The 15-city run kicks off in Massachusetts on Sept. 18, 2021.

Naturally, there is a Minnesota show on the list: At the Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis on Oct. 2.

There's no word on what, exactly, the show will entail, though the 70-year-old alum of both St. Louis Park High School and The Blake School said audience members will "laugh and leave hopeful - unless I’m in a bad mood."

Tickets go on sale Friday, June 25, at 10 a.m.

Franken has slowly been inching back into the public limelight since his resignation from the U.S. Senate on Dec. 7, 2017, following allegations he inappropriately touched a number of women over the years.

In addition to public speaking gigs, Franken has launched a regular political podcast series, and continues to capitalize on his much-publicized dislike of current U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz.
