NBC "Today" weatherman Al Roker wants to highlight the some of the people of northern Minnesota.

Northland's News Center reports that Roker's production company reached out to the Lake Vermillion Chamber of Commerce Friday for information on family-owned businesses, unique siblings and other talented people for a new reality TV show.

According to the chamber's Facebook page, the casting company is looking for independent or family owned businesses, unique siblings and people who are the best at what they do.

Specially the production is looking for people in the Tower Soudan area.

According to the production, Roker wants "larger than life personalities and talent to boot" from the independent and family-owned business world, and in the "Siblings Extraordinaire" category, the production wants "brothers in business together" or "sisters who share an obsession."

"You might remind people of the Kardashians - or the total opposite. But If you and your siblings have big personalities and are unique, we want to hear from you," the production says.

They're also looking for the "best of the best" in home renovation or niche businesses.

"Whether you're selling bridal gowns, or tracking down wildlife, we want to hear what makes you great and why youʼd make great TV," according to Roker's company.

No specific start date for the production was listed. Ideas can be emailed to
