Alice Cooper will headline a rockstravaganza in Welch this June after being booked for the Treasure Island 2020 Summer Concert Series.

The "Poison" and "Schools Out" rocker will play the Treasure Island Amphitheater as he brings his Ol' Black Eyes is Back tour to Minnesota.

He'll be joined by special guests including Tesla, Lita Ford, and Blue Öyster Cult – that of "Don't Fear The Reaper" fame.

The show has been booked for June 12, with tickets going on sale this Friday, Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. Tickets will range from $59 to $115 and can be bought from TIcasino.com or at the Island Box Office.

One of Cooper's most recent visits to Minnesota came in 2018, when he played Vetter Stone Amphitheater in Mankato.

His show prompted a complaint from a nearby resident before the concert had even happened, with a woman expressing concerns about Cooper's decibel levels and foul lyrics.

Cooper himself responded, claiming the idea the woman would be impacted by the noise "defies the laws of physics," posting on his social media: "110db at her house sounds like a stretch unless she happened to meter the concert sound while 1,000 cats were meowing in her home at exactly the same time."

"I'm a 'Nice Guy' after all," he added. "I guess I COULD have my snake swim over some earplugs... It's the least I could do."
