'American Ninja Warrior' films at U.S. Bank Stadium

The TV sensation has been recording in downtown Minneapolis.
Publish date:

The plaza outside U.S. Bank Stadium has been transformed the past two nights thanks to filming for television phenomenon "American Ninja Warrior."

The NBC show's spectacular obstacle course set was created in the shadows of the Minnesota Vikings' home

Those lucky enough to get tickets for the tapings have had to make their way downtown at the dead of night, with the series filming in the small hours of the morning to ensure complete darkness for its spectacular set.

The 10th season of the show starts on May 30, and you can expect to see the two episodes filmed in Minneapolis to be broadcast in early July and late August, according to the Star Tribune.
