Anoka police find python on the loose
To whoever lost a python in the Anoka area, the police would love it if you would come pick it up, it needs to go home.
The ball python was found by the Anoka Police Department on Monday.
"A little skittish but has come out of its box a little," Anoka PD said of the nonvenomous reptile. "As we don't have the proper supplies or habitats to care for reptiles, we are getting it off to a rescue ASAP."
They transferred the snake, which they say is 2-4 feet long, to the Minnesota Herpetology Center.
